Nile Touch Rugby Autumn League
Dear friends,
The autumn nile.touch league will start again with a
registration day and social games on Friday 14 September. Register as a team or as an individual and
remember teams must include at least two women. If you sign as an individual player nile.touch
will find you a team to play on.
Children are most welcome to form their own teams or be part
of an adult team. The league is extremely
family friendly and an ideal way of meeting new friends. There is also a children's play area, swimming
pool and often a BBQ. A netball league
also runs at the same date and time. Family and friends are most welcome to
accompany players.
DATE: Friday 14 September 2012.
VENUE: NCBIS (New Cairo British International
School) ADDRESS: Road 17, First Zone, 3rd Settlement, 5th
District. New Cairo
BUS: Provided by CES departs Maadi Grand Mall (roundabout
end)at 9:00am returning at 12.30pm for registration day. The fare is 5LE each way.
COST : 100LE per player (This payment covers the
whole Autumn season)
REGISTRATION TIME: 10am – 12:00pm
DIRECTION to NCBIS.
Best follow the CES bus to start with but if you follow the ring road
out of Cairo towards the Airport you turn off at the top of the hill at the Katameya
Heights Golf club. Turn left at the first
roundabout towards The International School of Choueifat. Turn right at the next roundabout. Travel around 1km looking out for a sign for
NCBIS. It is signposted as a left turn
close to a group of corner shops.

From the two seasons the money we got from Registration Fees was 13,485LE. Our expenses for the past two seasons are as follows:1500LE - Buses

Just to let you know the next nile.touch rugby competition begins with a registration day on Friday 14 September 2012 at 9:30AM in NCBIS. Safe travels to all those traveling over the summer break.

Function RSVP and Finals Day Draw
Remember tomorrow is the last day to RSVP for the function on Friday.
It is the end of the 2011/2012 season and unfortunately we have had to change the usual format of our finals days. This season we will have a single elimination tournament format. Once a team loses a game they will be out of contention for the championship. All teams will get at least two games each on the day. We have also shortened the game times to account for the heat.
Please inform nile.touch of your teams intentions to attend the finals day so we could plan accordingly.
